Microbrew – The Nordic Alehouse Sessions

What do you think of when you hear the word "Microbrew"? Beer? A bit of an experiment? A different "brew" every time?
Barokksolistene’s production "Microbrew" mixes music, dance and storytelling from the Nordic countries and Great Britain. Based on the production "The Dancers’ Brew", it is a smaller and more intimate version of the bigger show, featuring Norwegian folk dancers and the Alehouse crew. "Microbrew" was performed during the BBC Proms 2025, after which The Times’ reviewer wrote "If I were running the BBC I would book [Barokksolistene] for the Last Night of the Proms – they would put some pep into Rule, Britannia!"
